Nitin Naveen has taken charge as the new All India President of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). He officially took charge on Tuesday, becoming the youngest president in the history of the BJP.

Naveen is a five-time BJP MLA from Bihar. His father Naveen Kishore Sinha was a four-time member of the Bihar State Legislative Assembly.

Despite the fact that there was no other candidate in this election except Nitin Naveen, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the new president Nitin Naveen have praised the party's election process as "democratic".

Despite being the son of a political family himself, Nitin Naveen claims that BJP is the only party where 'you don't need to be a member of a particular family to get big responsibilities or positions.'

Naveen, 45, is the youngest president in the history of the BJP. After taking charge, he said that he is an ordinary worker who has become the president of the BJP.

Naveen also said that BJP is the only party in the country where a person from a common family can become the Prime Minister of the country. A common worker can get the responsibility like the National President. Being a common worker is the biggest qualification here.

Naveen took charge at the party headquarters in the presence of Prime Minister Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Nitin Gadkari and Rajnath Singh. Despite going unopposed, Modi claimed that the election was conducted in a "100% democratic manner".

While highlighting the authority of the new president, Prime Minister Modi said that Naveen is now his 'boss' and he himself is an ordinary party worker. However, it is worth noting that while the Prime Minister's speech was 49 minutes, the new president's speech was only 20 minutes and it was full of respect for Modi.

Modi said, "People may think, Narendra Modi is the Prime Minister of the country, three-time Prime Minister, head of the government for 25 years - all this is fine. But above all, I am a BJP worker. This is my biggest pride. When it comes to party matters, Nitin Naveen is my boss and I am just a worker."

Nitin Naveen thanked Modi and senior party leaders for nominating him as the president. He praised Modi's slogan of 'Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas' and mentioned works like the construction of Ram temple in Ayodhya and the abrogation of Article 370.
