Warning the United States about anti-government protests across Iran, the commander of the country's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Mohammad Pakpour said that the IRGC is still ready with its "finger on the trigger" after suppressing the public protests, French media outlet France-24 reported on Friday (January 23).
"The United States is sending a large fleet toward Iran. I don't want that to happen, but we're watching them very closely," Trump told reporters on Air Force One on Thursday (January 22) as he returned from the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos.
Mohammad Pakpour warned Israel and the United States to learn from historical experience and the 12-day war last year, otherwise they will face more painful and regrettable consequences.
He also said that the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and beloved Iran are more ready than ever before with their finger on the trigger to implement the orders and directives of the Commander-in-Chief and Supreme Leader.
